It’s November, so what’s the first thing you think of? Well, yes, the election is pretty important. But what next? OK, I admit the weather change has been quite nice. But after that, what’s the first thing you think of? … You know what, never mind. I’ll tell you: The answer is Thanksgiving.
I personally love Thanksgiving for the obvious reason: food, and lots of it. After music and being snarky, food is my third favorite thing. And that’s what this holiday is all about — eating too much, turning on some football and then passing out.
I figured that this month, I should make a mixtape to help ease myself — and you, my gracious readers — into the post-turkey nap. The track listing below is full of slow, dreamy songs that should have you sleeping off the stuffing in no time. And if you don’t make it through the whole tape the first time, don’t worry — after waking up, just go make yourself a leftovers sandwich and repeat the process as many times as you want.
